MACHINE ARCHITECTURE
The SOMOS IWT, TPM-series, Double-Sided Lapping & Polishing machine architecture accommodates a broad range of work piece parts through its expansive family of machine sizes. A roster of our current designs are – TPM – 220, 400, 630, 800, 1000, 1250, 1600, 2000, 2500. These can be further expanded beyond current designs.
The nomenclature designation of the SOMOS machine sizes are characterized by plate diameter in millimeters. For example, 220 = 220mm (8.6”) and expand through our current largest machine of 2500mm (100”).
